Choosing The Best Metal Detector Wand

Whether you are a veteran or a beginner treasure hunter, you've in all probability thought of getting a metal detector wand for convenience. Before you do, here are some things it is best to know.

General Purpose

Gold

Sometimes, standard metal detector wands usually are not very good at finding gold. If you wish to search out gold, you need a model that's particularly designed to detect veins and nuggets.

Relics

Relics pose a challenge, because they are usually not all in one piece. They can be at a wide range of depths and of varied sizes. Look for a metal detector wand that can detect a wide range of sizes, from minuscule to large, and has a good audio response signal for numerous depths. It should have both large and small search coils and auto ground balance.

Regardless of your model, make sure that it has a superb battery life so that it lasts as least as long as you do in the field.
