After reading many different reviews from many different sources I decided that the Tesoro Silver Umax was the best metal detector for my requirements.

I am glad I did this because I am so happy that I have found exactly what I was looking for. It is easy to use but like any metal detector you have to know how to interpret the data.

I have not been doing metal detecting very long, but after only a month of using my Tesoro Silver Umax, I have discovered over 100 coins including 2 Roman and bronze age coins, which I am thrilled with.

I followed the clear instructions and set the machine just below foil with the sensitivity set to 6 to 8 which was perfect for finding coins and gold and silver rings too. This detector is superb and providing you have the patience and perseverance you will be rewarded well.
